Not that long ago, the world was shaken by a video revealing a dragon that was suspected to fly and then fall right in Tibet. Do you know where is Tibet? The entire sight of the dragon was accurate to any legend or folklore involving the legendary creature. With this dragon found in Tibet, does it mean dragon really exist, and not just in imaginary fantasy world far, far away?
Where is Tibet Actually?
So, where IS Tibet? Tibet is in the south west of China. It also borders Bhutan, Burma, Nepal, and India on all of its sides. This country historical territory made it the 10th largest in the world. Tibet originally had three provinces in it including Amdo, Kham, and U-Tsang. The entire people on these regions call themselves the Tibetans despite the fact that each of the region represents different dialect of Tibetan and different strong identity.
Under the occupation of China, Tibet as where is Tibet now, was later divided into several regions. It is renamed and it is forcefully incorporated to China. Whenever China government mentions Tibet, they refer to Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) that includes a part of Kham and U-Tsang. The remaining Kham region now becomes Yunnan and Sichuan provinces. Meanwhile, the Amdo provinces now become Qinghai, Sichuan, and Gansu provinces.
Despite that Tibetans insist they are free folks and they want to remain a neutral country and China denies it, Tibet is always rich with culture and distinctive religion to offer. It is also mentioned that their life near the peak is somewhat reminds us on a life that can only exist hundreds of years ago filled with harmony and compassion. So could it be that a dragon found in Tibet for real?
Was It True That Dragon Found in Tibet?
It’s an appealing story that the dragon was found and had to fall right in Tibet. It seems like some of the most ancient creatures are somehow starting to wander here on earth for us mortal men to catch a glimpse. No? Well, I for one, thought it would be a fun thing to put into my bucket of never-going-to-happen-wishlist.
So, you can imagine my disappointment, when the story of a dragon found in Tibet was nothing more than story op. I mean, the video was shot pretty close to the dragon that we could see how the skin looks, and every detail convincing enough to assure us that it was indeed a dragon! We could see its half closed eyes, and how part of it simmered by the wind.
Yes. Apparently, that particular dragon was just a very fine sculpture and was meant to be featured in a Spanish TV show as a part of the TV prop. A very fine art work indeed, but still not real. But I gotta hand it to them, the details were just unreal, don’t you think?
There is no living dragon found, so far. Not in Tibet, not in anywhere else. But even it was not true about dragon found in Tiber, but now that you more than when first started asking where is Tibet, you must agree that there is so much more to explore in the beautiful Tibet and the rich culture of Tibetans folks.
