Joe and I came here mostly to enjoy a 3-day golf package from Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa Bonita Spring Florida which has been generously gifted by one of our family friend. The first impression was the warm welcome from their lovely staff upon check in. It was a lovely Inn, and we did enjoy a balcony room with a view for our room. The building design wasn’t the best I have seen, so if you wish to get rooms with great views, your only chance would be the upper levels ones which face west right to the ocean view. The room itself was quite large and seemed to be recently refurbished. We had walk-in shower that was spacious, and the room had a nice mini bar that was well stocked.
Travel Reviews: Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa Bonita Spring FL
Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa Bonita Spring Florida has grand pool area, and they provide you access to private beach through pontoon boat which was nice. The price was pretty steep, but we loved the privacy and was told that the location could lit up quite nicely at night, with fire pit where you and your kids can make some smores by the ocean. We took the last return boat from the beach that left around 4pm, so we had to miss seeing beautiful sunset or risked not getting on the boat and miss our reservations.
Compared to Ritz Resort that was not far from the location, Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa Bonita Spring Florida came somewhat o-kay. The food was good but they were extremely expensive even for a 5-star resort. It is a great conference hotel, and if you came for the golf experience you’ll get what you expected. But that was it for me.
Although I should say, I did book for a spa day for myself, and it was an amazing experience. There were one the most gorgeous steam rooms I have ever seen, with lots of frame-less glass-door to enter. They also had good pools and water slides. The water seems very clean, and there was adult pool area with pretty large hot tub for us. Like I said, they also have dining options on site if you choose so, and there was shopping and restaurants not that far from the resort.
So our verdict on this Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa Bonita Spring Florida reviews is this: decent amenities and accommodation, staff was really helpful and kind, enjoyable private beach and rather nice pools. But for the price they charge here, the hotel can do a little bit better especially on their food service and it wouldn’t hurt to do some spicing up on their beach activities and making arrangement so guests can stay for sunset without missing on the ferry back.
